I am devoting this blog to the ridiculous and stupid antics of people in positions of responsibility who really appear to be imbeciles, or at the very least, afraid of society in general. This category also includes attorneys, state and federal, politicians and government at all levels.

John Kerry, now the US Secretary of Sate, says that

"And in a sense, climate change can now be considered another weapon of mass destruction, perhaps the world’s most fearsome weapon of mass destruction." – John Kerry

It is my understanding that if the Earth;s temperature rises an average of 1.5 degrees centigrade that the world's sea levels will rise around 2 feet in the next 50 years. Well, I don't know about most everybody else, but it seems to me that this would affect people who own beach front property the most. So what we have here from the climate change extremists is another opportunity to drag billions, trillions, of dollar from the middle class in order to help out those in the top 1%. While climate change is a sure thing (it's been happening since there was an Earth), it is still unclear whether CO2 causes climate change or that climate change increases CO2 in the atmosphere, or that it is being caused by the activities of people. So why bankrupt the middle class to ensure that the rich keep their beach front vacation homes?

Today I learned that a teacher stopped a child's presentation when the child mentioned Jesus. the story, titled "Teacher Tells Student Not to Talk About Bible in School: Lawyer", dtd Wednesday, Jan 15, 2014.

You can have classes about Islam in public schools, but references to Christian religion is vehemently prohibited.

"SAN FRANCISCO – The California Supreme Court granted a law license Thursday to a man who has lived in the U.S. illegally for two decades, a ruling that advocates hope will open the door to millions of immigrants seeking to enter other professions such as medicine, accounting and teaching."

A panel of judges decides that rewarding illegal behavior is OK.

OK, more overreach The US Supreme Court is hearing arguments in a case concerning the legality of buying a firearm as gift from a legal purchaser, bought legally and then given to someone, a family member in this case, who also is a legal gun owner . Ridiculous.
